Multicolor Strobe Light

A strobe that flashes and cycles through colours, for the part of the night when the main lights go down. Pointed at a dance floor it does what a strobe does. Pointed at a wall or across a hallway it reads much more like lightning, which on Halloween is the better trick of the two.

$25, and we have one. It works best alongside the black lights and the purple wall washes — all three running together is the full effect.

One thing worth knowing: flashing light does not suit everybody. If anyone coming is sensitive to it, keep the strobe to one room rather than the main space, and let people choose whether to walk into it.
